Bushland Condition Monitoring (BCM) is a method to assess the health of remnant bushland over time and in response to conservation management, land-use change and climate change.

 

This is the site of the Bushland Condition Monitoring Program run by the Nature Conservation Society of South Australia Inc.

About

The Bushland Condition Monitoring Manual was created by the Nature Conservation Society of South Australia to provide bushland owners and managers with a tool to measure change in the condition of their bushland.

Projects

The NCSSA conducts projects using BCM for the NRM Boards, local councils, landowners and conservation groups

Update-- Weed Threat Ratings

The BCM weed threat ratings have been updated to better reflect current knowledge of species invasiveness, impact and difficulty of control.
